The right offer, inside the conversation
A strategy is a play in your words: who it is for, the moment it fits, and what Shinobi offers when that moment arrives. Enabled plays ride into every live conversation, and Shinobi makes the offer only when it genuinely fits, at most once per conversation. Never pushy, never a popup.
Three sentences make a play
No rule builders, no segments to maintain, no scripting. You describe the play the way you would brief a new teammate, and Shinobi carries it into every conversation.
Who it is for
Describe the customer in plain language: first-time visitors who have not bought yet, repeat customers, someone asking about a specific product line.
When it fits
Describe the moment worth acting on: their question just got answered and the conversation is winding down, or they are comparing options and hesitating.
What Shinobi says
Describe the offer in your voice: mention the newsletter gets 10% off a first order, suggest the sample pack, point to the bulk pricing page.
Shinobi weighs the moment, then makes the offer
Enabled plays ride into the live agent's instructions. During the conversation Shinobi keeps them in mind, and when the audience matches and the moment arrives, the offer lands as a natural next sentence, not an interruption.
Plays live on the Strategies page in your console as playbook cards: audience, moment and offer rows, an enable switch, and plain language everywhere. Edit a play any time and the next conversation carries the new version.
Built to never feel like a popup
An offer only helps when it arrives welcome. Plays are instructions the agent weighs, not triggers that fire, so restraint is the default.
Never twice in a conversation
Each play is offered at most once per conversation. If the moment never arrives, the offer is never made, and that is the point.
Never mid-problem
Shinobi does not pitch while a customer is still waiting on an answer. Offers wait for the moment you described, like a resolved question winding down.
Weighed, not triggered
A play is not a popup rule. Shinobi reads the whole conversation and only makes the offer when it genuinely fits the person and the moment.
What is live and what is next
Strategies ship in the open, and this page updates the day the next piece does, not before.
Live today: up to ten plain-language plays, edited any time on the Strategies console page, riding the same live engine as every conversation. Every play is off by default until you enable it.
Live today: every play shows how many times its offer was actually made and when it last landed. The agent tags the offers it makes, the server verifies and strips the tag: real occurrences, never text-match guesses.
Strategies extends Missions: Missions engage over weeks between conversations, Strategies act inside the conversation at the right moment. Both ride the same conversations Livechat carries, and when a human takes over, Live Assist keeps them fast.
